Case Study - Epsom Day Surgery
Epsom Day Surgery, run by EpsoMedical, is an independent healthcare provider focussing on elective medical care, such as surgical procedures and outpatient diagnostic and therapy services. Based in the south east of England, the surgery is part of a small group of hospitals serving communities in Surrey and South West London. The surgery set themselves high standards for their patients and we were delighted to work with Mark Hamshere, an experienced contractor specializing in NHS and hospital installations, to provide them with high quality products for their recent refurbishment.
CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS
Epsom Surgery required an upgrade to a number of their medical handwashing facilities, ensuring a seamless integration with existing infrastructures. The surgery is set in an historic building, the Old Hospital College, and therefore important to ensure a modern look that complemented the old building.
Hygienic solutions are paramount for healthcare settings, where infection control is essential, hence it is important to consider the following:
- Products are HTM compliant and meet HBN 00-09 Infection Control standards
- Integrated Panel Systems (IPS) aid infection control with zero joint lines and easy to clean
- Full height IPS panels can be cut to size to suit any ceiling height in the old building
- Basins should be supplied with no overflow and free flowing waste for infection control
OUR SOLUTIONS
We offer a huge range of medical sanitaryware and have a large stockholding of IPS units and medical basins in our warehouse to service our NHS and healthcare customers. Hence we were able to offer Epsom Day Surgery a choice of full height IPS panels and suggested the RAK ceramic medical basins to complement the panels.
